Turn the town of Taber, Alberta into a clue solving game!

The Taber Clue Solving Adventure combines the scramble of a scavenger hunt, the challenge of an escape room, and the fun of an adventure race. Your route includes many stops along the way, each with unique challenges, and clues to decipher.

Guided by your smart phone, you’ll work together as a team to uncover new pathways and hidden gems as you solve puzzles and decipher a trail of clues that lead you around Taber.

This adventure is great for friends, families, and groups. You can race or enjoy the experience at a leisurely pace. It is entirely up to you!

Your Taber clue solving adventure: Hidden in Plain Sight

Discover Taber's historic downtown as you solve a fun mystery.
Follow a trail of clues to track down a gang of fugitives who have been hiding in Taber. You will need all your wits about you as you explore the community to find them all. The question is, do you and your team have what it takes to complete the task?

• Start location: Downtown Taber

• Start time: It is flexible! Start any day any time.

• Walking distance: 2.8km on flat roads in town and fully accessible, with a few shops and eateries along the way.

• Average time to complete: 2-hours

• Level of difficulty: This experience is family and pet friendly. However, the clues can be quite challenging and we therefore recommend playing with adults.
  
  
• What you need: At least one fully charged cellphone per team (we advise 2+). Dress for the weather and wear footwear suitable for walking around town.
  
  
• Highlights: Fun history, downtown shops, murals

How it works:

• Once you’ve registered your game and selected your start date with the tour provider, you will receive an email with the instructions and the access code. This happens after you’ve activated your experience on Breakaway Experiences’ website.
• Download the free APP and use the access code to activate your adventure.
• You’ll receive a series of clues on APP. Each clue will guide you to the next location where you'll find a hidden word or solve a puzzle.
• Along the way, you'll visit local icons, uncover hidden places, and experience stunning scenery.
• Clues are sequential and written assuming you have no knowledge of the town.
• Submit the correct answer and you will immediately get the next clue. Don’t worry, hints and directions are available, but they’ll cost you a time penalty!
• Solve all the clues and solve the final mystery!
• Suggested team size is 2 - 5 players. It is most fun when working with other people to find and solve clues.

• You are not required to buy anything along the route.
• Data plans are only used to activate the adventure and are not used during play.
• Please ensure that your cellphone is charged before you begin. You are only required to use the phone for the App.
• Additional phones may be added at no extra cost.
• Bringing a phone charger is a good idea if your battery is low or weak.
