Your Kananaskis clue solving adventure: Mountains and Water

Follow a trail of clues around pathways, viewpoints, shops and restaurants at this stunning mountain resort.
After the Great Flood of 2013, a resident logistics expert created an electronic operations manual to protect the village against future catastrophes. Unfortunately, the password has been lost, and someone needs to follow a trail of clues to recover it. Can you and your team solve this mystery?

• Start location: Kananaskis Mountain Lodge  VIEW MAP

• Start time: Start any day any time. 

• Walking distance: Approximately 1.4 km outdoors and indoors on mostly flat trails.

• Average time to complete: 60 - 75 minutes with optional game breaks.

• Level of difficulty: This game is family friendly, however, the clues can be quite challenging. We recommend playing with adults.
  
  
• What you need: At least one fully charged cellphone per team (we advise 2+). Dress for the weather and wear footwear suitable for walking around town.

How it works:

• Activate your experience on Breakaway Experiences’ website, in your My Account.
• Follow the instructions in your certificate and register your adventure.
• Select your start date with the tour provider.
• You will then receive an email with the game instructions and the access code.
• Download the free APP and use the access code to activate your adventure.
• When you begin playing, you’ll receive a series of clues on the free APP. Each clue will guide you to the next location where find a hidden word or you'll solve a puzzle.
• Along the way, you'll visit local icons, experience stunning scenery and uncover hidden places.
• Clues are sequential and written assuming you have no knowledge of Kananaskis.
• Submit the correct answer and you will immediately get the next clue.
• Don’t worry, hints and directions are available, but they’ll cost you a time penalty.
• Decipher all the clues and solve the mystery!

• The game is most fun when working with other people to find and solve clues. Suggested team size is 2 - 5 players.
• You are not required to buy anything.
• Please make sure that your cellphone is charged before you start. Additional phones can be added at no extra cost.
• You are only required to use the phone for the App. Data plans are only used to activate the adventure and are not used during play. During the game you only need Wi-Fi or data to synchronize with additional phones in your group.
• Bringing a phone charger is a good idea if your battery is weak.
