Coffee on the beach and relaxing paddling!
Paddle through False Creek and explore floating homes, marinas, seals, birds, BC Place Stadium, and Science World. Stop at one of Vancouver’s beautiful beaches and fuel up with a coffee and snack before paddling back to Granville Island.
The Kayak and Coffee tour departs from Granville Island at 11:30am. At this time of day, the water is smooth so you can paddle through some of Vancouver’s most luxurious marinas and historic waterways. Your guide will give you a recount of Vancouver’s history while updating you on many of the most interesting and newest ventures of the city.
Much like the easy-going harbor seals you’ll meet along the way, you’ll be able to slow down, take in the sights, and save the adrenaline rush for another day.
You'll stop at one of Vancouver’s amazing beaches and fuel up with a coffee and snack.
This 3-hour Vancouver kayak tour is a wonderful experience gift for families, friends, and couples, even those who would be paddling for the first time.
The kayaks come in two basic styles: Sit-inside kayaks and Sit-on-top kayaks. (both are available as singles or doubles*) Sit-on-tops are a great choice for new or nervous paddlers as they are stable, easy to get in and out of and there is no feeling of confinement. Whether you choose a single kayak or a double*, the touring kayaks offer superb stability, comfortable back support, and have plenty of room to stow and strap your gear.
