Whistler Snowshoeing Tour - Ancient Cedars

No experience is necessary.  If you can walk, you can snowshoe! 

Your winter adventure begins with a 30-minute ride in a 4×4 to the trail head. From there, your expert guide will lead you on a 2-hour trek through the snowy wilderness, sharing their knowledge of the local flora and fauna including towering Douglas Firs, Alder, Spruce and 900-year-old western Red Cedars.

With stunning views, frozen waterfalls, and a snack break along the way, this snowshoe tour along trails in the Whistler Backcountry has something for everyone.

• Mid December to mid April, 10:00am & 12:00pm *
  *Subject to availability and trail conditions.

• Participants must be comfortable and physically capable of hiking for 2 hours in the snow.
• Any guests aged 8 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 19.
• All tour participants are required to sign a legal release of liability waiver.
• Dress like you’re going skiing: Warm waterproof, warm winter jacket, warm base layers, snowpants, thick socks, gloves, and a neck warmer. Waterproof winter boots are a must.
• No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
• Not recommended for people with back problems.
• People with heart problems, serious medical conditions or pregnant are not permitted on the tour.
• Snowshoeing tours will run in all weather conditions unless it is deemed unsafe.
