A true western experience with delicious comfort food and western-style activities like horseshoes and lassoing.

Enjoy a relaxing wagon ride along the Bow River. Watch for wildlife such as beavers, squirrels, and porcupines scurrying around the meadows and marshes.

Midway through the ride, you’ll arrive at “3 Mile” to enjoy genuine Western hospitality and some tasty comfort food including steak cooked to order, cowboy baked beans, baked potatoes, and Caesar salad. The BBQ area is a clean and inviting space with outdoor seating to enhance your dining experience.

But before digging into your tasty dinner, work up an appetite with a few Western-style games, like lassoing and horseshoes.

This is is the perfect adventure for all ages and is available as a lunch or dinner departure time and meal.

• A one-hour wagon ride along the Bow River to 3 Mile Cabin followed by a one-hour return wagon ride.
• Western BBQ at 3 Mile Cabin: BBQ steak, baked potato, cowboy baked beans, lunch buns, Caesar salad, dessert squares, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and juice.
• Western-style activities like horseshoes and lassoing.
• Covered outdoor seating at the BBQ site.

• This is a wagon ride only. You will not be riding on horseback.
• “3 Mile Cabin” is located in a remote backcountry area. Due to its unique location, the kitchen operates with limited resources and is unable to accommodate requests beyond our set menus (steak dinner or vegetarian dinner).
• Please note that the kitchen contains common allergens, including but not limited to: dairy, wheat, soy, sesame, mustards, garlic, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs and egg products.
• This experience is suitable for all ages.
• Children aged 17 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Not recommended for travellers with back problems and pregnant travellers.
