On a guided 3-hour bus tour you’ll discover the secrets of a historic mountain haven with a local guide as you gaze upon stunning views and visit Banff's key landmarks such as the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls, Hoodoos Lookout, Surprise Corner Lookout, and Banff’s largest lake, Lake Minnewanka.

Often, you are able to view wildlife on the tour. Most commonly seen are elk, white tail deer, mule deer, and big horn sheep. As the animals are wild these sightings cannot be guaranteed but wildlife are spotted on 95% of these tours.

You’ll then travel to the base of Sulphur Mountain and ride the Banff Gondola to the summit, 2,281 metres above sea level, where you’ll discover unsurpassed views of the Bow Valley, Banff and a 360-degree view of six scenic mountain ranges.

Need to know:

• The gondola ride is approximately eight minutes each way. You’ll have approximately an hour at the Banff Gondola summit.
• At each stop you will have the opportunity to get off the bus and stretch your legs. All the viewpoints involve a short walk, including the observation deck at the Banff Gondola.
• The gondola cabins comfortably fit four adults.
