Your PEI sightseeing journey begins with your guide meeting you at your downtown Charlottetown accommodation. You’ll then head out on a narrated drive passing multiple points of interest including the stunning cathedral St. Dunstan’s Basilica, the Confederation Centre of the Arts, the historic Province House, waterfront Victoria Park, Government House, the University of PEI, and Queen Street. Your knowledgeable, entertaining guide will regale you with highlights and tips about city throughout the drive.

Next, you will take in captivating views of the spectacular landscape from two separate viewpoints; Dalvay by the Sea Outlook and Cavendish Cliffs Outlook with its signature views of rugged, red sandstone cliffs.

You will then get to step into the life of Anne of Green Gables and visit her home at the Anne of Green Gables Heritage Site with free time to relive Anne’s youthful escapes and mishaps within the memory-filled rooms of her home, blending the real life experiences of local author Lucy Maud Montgomery who was inspired by this idyllic farmstead.

For the last part of your tour, your guide will take you to the Prince Edward Island Preserve Co., a riverside eatery offering refined regional fare and house jams in an airy setting. Here, you can see, smell, hear, and taste Canada’s finest preserves being prepared for market in one of Canada’s prettiest villages, New Glasgow PEI.

At the end of your tour, your guide will take you back to your Downtown Charlottetown hotel.
