Banff Discover Grizzly Bears Tour

Where:Banff, Alberta
Price for:1 Participant
Visit the world's largest enclosed and protected grizzly bear habitat. On the Banff Grizzly Bear Tour, you will ride over the refuge by gondola (mountain top gourmet lunch included) and later see orphaned bear “Boo” up close on a tour led by his guardians.

For summer 2020 tours will be operating on a private basis, with a minimum of 4 adults in the same family or cohort group.

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is the home to the worlds largest enclosed and protected grizzly bear habitat and where orphaned bear "Boo" lives and plays.  Visitors will have the amazing opportunity, as part of an interpretive tour, to view a grizzly bear interacting as much as they do in the wild.

The Discover Grizzly Bear Tour takes you to to Yoho National Park, where you will stop at Emerald Lake, the 302m high Takakkaw Falls, and travel over the Kicking Horse Canyon. You will then take a gondola ride to Eagle’s Eye restaurant for lunch with a panoramic view of the Rocky Mountains, before taking a chair lift to visit Boo for the Grizzly Bear Tour at the Bear Refuge. Your guide will tell stories of bears, their habits and their current health in our region while visiting these breathtaking stops.
