This Banff winter sightseeing tour is a great introduction to the park. This will include some of the most scenic and historically significant highlights of Banff such as the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, Surprise Corner Lookout, Bow Falls, Hoodoos Viewpoint and Lake Minnewanka. Plus, enjoy hot chocolate or fresh water (depending on the time of year) and maple cookies at one of the scenic stops. It’s a complete orientation to Banff and a great tour for seeing wildlife in the morning!

Your guide will take you to the main highlights around the town of Banff whilst providing fascinating commentary on the history of Banff National Park with stories about the wildlife. At each stop you will have the opportunity to get off the bus and stretch your legs. All of the viewpoints are a short walk from the bus.

Often, you are able to view wildlife on the tour, however, as the animals are wild these sightings cannot be guaranteed. Most commonly seen are white tail deer, mule deer, big horn sheep, and elk. Your guide will have a lot of knowledge about the animals within the park and will fill you in about them if you see any wildlife or if you have any questions.
