Archery Lesson, Niagara Falls

Try your hand at the ancient art of archery. 

Nothing compares to the thrill of drawing back the bow and experiencing the grace and agility of this ancient sport.  With a friendly and experienced instructor by your side, you'll learn archery techniques and tips that will help you perfect your aim and shoot on target.

Learn the basic steps to archery: 

• Stance and foot placement
• Correct muscles used to draw(pull) the bow string
• Placement of the arrow on the string or noching
• Arm, shoulder, and hand positioning
• Full draw position and aiming
• Facial reference or anchor point
• Releasing and follow through
• Relaxing after the shot

Duration: 1 hour

What's included:

• Bow and arrow rental.
• Learn about archery, safety issues and ten basic steps to shooting.
  
• Use of the outdoor archery 10m and 15m range s with sheltered area.
• Instruction from a NCCP trained Archery Coach.
  

When:  

• Available all year round Monday - Sunday 
• Subject to availability

Need to know: 

• No previous experience is required. 
• Minimum age for participation is 12 years old.
• You will be outdoors for the entire lesson.
• Lessons run in most weather conditions, but may be cancelled due to extreme cold or other unsafe conditions.
• In the event of a weather cancellation the experience will be rescheduled.
• Please wear multiple layers in cold weather.
