This two-hour easy forest walking tour with an expert myco-guide is focused on how to identify wild mushrooms specific to Whistler’s ecosystem like porcini, hedgehog, matsutake, bears-head, and more. This trip includes a mushroom tasting and discussion on how to cook different mushrooms!

Hunt for edible and wild mushrooms in Whistler, BC!

While this class will study edible mushrooms in their habitat and discuss ethical and sustainable harvesting, you may be able to find some mushrooms to take home but we can’t guarantee a harvest as it depends on how many mushrooms are popping up.
