The Time Machine 1:

A local historian has become lost in time. His time machine has reappeared containing some rare gold coins and a 500-year-old note saying HELP ME! Follow a trail of clues back through time to find the professor and the gold coins.  Be aware, one false move might leave you and your friends stranded!

The Time Machine 2:

Head back into time on another rescue mission. Once again, you must use a time machine to follow a trail of clues back into the past to rescue your dear friend …  one false move will leave you stuck there. Do you stil have what it takes to take on history in another rescue mission?

How it works:

• Price shown per Mystery purchased.
• Your mystery can be for 2-8 players but we recommend playing in teams of 2 - 5 players.
• Using a custom App, your team will need to figure out how to solve the riddles and clues you receive. Watch out, there are a couple of twists along the way!
• Once you’ve registered your adventure and selected your start date with the game provider, you’ll receive an email with the access code and the instructions. You’ll receive this after you have activated your experience on Breakaway Experiences’ website.
• Download the free APP and enter the access code to activate your ‘The Time Machine’ adventure.
• The App has a REMOTE PLAY where you can play with family and friends! You may add additional phones / computers within your team AFTER you have started and received your first clue.
• You’ll receive and answer clues in the App. On some clues you will use your computer and a specific web page to find puzzles. Other clues will test your wits to figure out who the guilty parties are!
• There are 16 moderate to hard clues but with lots of helpful hints provided, it will be a fun test of teamwork.
• Clues will appear in the App. Enter the correctly spelled answer to get the next clue or riddle. Incorrect answers cost time penalties that will be added to your final score.
• If you are stuck on a clue you can ask for solution hints. These hints cost time but used strategically they may be well worth it!
• Complete all the clues and solve the final mystery.
