Macaloney's Island Distillery & Twa Dogs Brewery Tour

If you are a fan of spirits and craft beer, you'll love this tour that brings you behind-the-scenes tours of a producer of premium malt whiskies and superb craft beers.

Your 45-minute tour begins in the visitor’s centre and flows the way the spirits go, past the grist mill where you can taste some of the various strains of malted & un- malted barley, or other cereals that the craft brewer and distiller gets to play and experiment with.

Next, following your guide, you’ll make your way into the heart of the Brew & Still house through the smells of the mash tun and wash backs, past the gleaming swan necked Stills, and up into the warehouse and bottling hall.

Back in the visitor’s centre, its time for a wee dram of two of the whiskies in the Macaloney Cask Selection series along with three of their craft beers. Sit at a barrel and enjoy the traditional atmosphere in the lounge as their kilted staff serve you.
