Learn How To Fly a Plane During an Intro Flight Lesson Over Toronto.

This introductory flying lesson is the perfect way to see Toronto from a whole new perspective as you experience the thrill of flight.

The experience begins at the Edenvale Aerodrome, just outside of Barrie, where you will greet your expert instructor and be given a safety briefing on learning how to handle and fly the aircraft. You will be taken through the basic controls and procedures and taught all there is to know about the aircraft you will be flying.

Your instructor will taxi the aircraft into position, and once you have the all-clear from the tower, its down the runway and away you go! Once you are up to 2500-3500 feet in the air you'll get the chance to actually take control of the aircraft!

You'll be in control for most of the flying lesson, practicing gaining and losing altitude, banks, turns, and staying on a straight course. You can have control of the aircraft for the whole time if you wish, or have the instructor take over for a bit while you take some pictures or video to remind you of your flying lesson.

Once your time in the air is over the instructor will once again take over the controls for landing. When you are safely back on the ground you'll go through post flight checks and have the opportunity to learn how to taxi as you steer the aircraft back to its berth.

As a final bonus, should you get the flying bug and decide to go on and get your license, this flying lesson will count towards your flying time.

Need to know:

Lessons available daily Monday - Sunday year-round.
Your flight will depart from and return to the same airport.
Maximum Weight is 260 lbs.
Minimum Requirement is 48" / 4ft.
Participants under 18 years of age will require the signature of a parent or guardian.
Flying lesson is weather dependant. It is vital you call the flight centre before leaving home.
Participants will be required to sign a liability release and waiver form.
There is an onboard GoPro camera with a wide-angle lens. Please bring a Micro SD card and you can record your entire lesson at no charge.
Family and friends are welcome to watch you take off and land.
