Halifax Coastal Explorer Sea Kayak Tour

Your tour heads out from a sheltered cove on the Lower Prospect peninsula, 30-minutes from Halifax.  The kayak tour provider is in an area that offers a myriad of pristine islands, beaches, sheltered inlets, incredible rock formations, and amazing wildlife. You’ll visit Cub Basin, Betty’s Island and Rogues Roost, and the Terence Bay Wilderness Protected Area. Watch close, you may see seals, porpoises, whales, eagles, or even a school of breaching tuna. You'll enjoy some of the best sea kayaking in Nova Scotia!

Lunch will be on one of the many pristine islands in the area and you’ll have a chance to stretch your legs, walk around and relax on the shore.

No experience is required to enjoy this tour.

Your tour guides are some of the most highly trained and qualified paddlers in the region. they will show you everything you need to know to get on the water safely. A large wharf and specialized floats make it easy to choose the right kayak and head out on your way without any fear of tipping over.

• Please bring sunscreen, hat, extra fleece/windbreaker, water, sunglasses with strap, shoes that can get wet, snack (unless included in tour). For clothing, avoid cotton and wear quick-dry material such as fleece or yoga clothes.
• Children can join their parents in a double kayak and require their own certificate purchase.
• Maximum weight per kayak is 300lbs.
• Tour guide gratuities are graciously accepted at your discretion.
