Toronto’s Canary District Segway Tour - Peaceful Parks and Trails

This 1-hour Segway tour is the only one of its kind in Toronto, offering a quick cruise speed, outdoor fun, and compelling stories from Toronto’s easternmost downtown neighbourhood. You’ll glide through Toronto Canary’s District covering 50 acres. Discover how this historic and once-industrial pocket of the city has rapidly evolved into a model for urban renewal, all while riding your very own Segway PT.

From the innovative Underpass Park (Toronto’s coolest hidden gem) to the sweeping Canary Common, you’ll cover serious ground and discover corners of Toronto most people have not seen. This adventure is all about discovery and exploration as you zip along.

This Segway tour is ideal for families, urban explorers, bucket listers, and curious Torontonians.

Before you head out, you’ll receive a comprehensive Segway PT training session led by your experienced guide. This tour is recommended for intermediate riders or those who’ve done Segway tours before, but beginners can learn easily.

What you’ll experience:

• A comprehensive Segway PT training session led by an experienced guide (Not to worry, most participants take 3-5 minutes to pass the safety training).
• A scenic ride spanning 50 acres across 3 neighbourhoods.
• Lush green spaces and unique street art at Underpass Park.

• Maximum number of participants per tour is 4.
• The Segway GT’s top speed is 20 km/h.
• The rider must be at least 16 years of age and weigh between 100 and 280 pounds.
• The rider must be physically able to climb and descend stairs without assistance or use of a handrail. Riders must be able to stand for the duration of the tour.
• Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• Each rider must sign a waiver before the tour (if under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign on their behalf).
• We recommend not bringing large bags or personal items while on tour.
• Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes (sandals or heels can be uncomfortable) and weather-appropriate clothing.
• It is not recommended for pregnant women or anyone heart conditions, or seizure disorders.
• Segway tours can run in light rain; the Segway is just as waterproof as any other vehicle. Segway tours will not run in hazardous storms with severe thunder and lightning, heavy rain, or snowstorms.
