This unique tour will expose you to a multi-faceted experience amidst Kananaskis’ incredible surrounding.
First, you will arrive at Barrier Lake Day Use Area and step into a large canoe and set off for a leisurely paddle along the rugged shoreline of Barrier Lake, surrounded by mountain views, fresh air, and if you watch carefully, some wildlife. Your guide will provide a dry land paddling lesson, a safety briefing and then away you go.
With a certified guide, experience paddling, portaging and lighting a no-match fire. Breath in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the 360-degree mountain views. Along the way your guide will regale you with stories out the voyageurs who explored much of Canada by canoe.
