Led by an entertaining, expert local guide, you’ll stroll along the scenic waterfront, exploring iconic landmarks. The tour begins with meeting at the Samuel Cunard Statue before continuing along the scenic harbourfront, where your guide brings to life stories of resilience, immigration, and pivotal events.

You’ll visit Pier 21, often called Canada’s “Ellis Island”. Pier 21 is Canada’s historic arrival point for over one million immigrants, and where you’ll learn the moving stories behind their journeys.

The tour continues past the historic CSS Acadia, bringing to light Halifax’s connection to the Titanic disaster and well as the lasting impact of the 1917 Halifax Explosion.

You’ll stroll through waterfront areas such as Bishop’s Landing and Queen’s Marque, where contemporary design blends with deep-rooted heritage, including influences from the Mi’kmaq people.

Midway through the tour, you’ll stop at Peace by Chocolate to sample handcrafted treats while learning the story of Syrian refugees who built a globally recognized brand.
