Your Halifax sightseeing adventure begins with being picked up from your hotel in downtown Halifax and heading out towards the picturesque fishing village of Peggy’s Cove, located about an hour drive from Halifax. Along the way, your guide will share fun facts and tips about the area.

At Peggy’s Cove, you’ll have the opportunity to take a picture with the most photographed lighthouse in Canada, the iconic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse (also known as Peggy’s Point Lighthouse). The tiny fishing village of Peggy’s Cove offers some small shops you can peruse or grab a seat on one of the benches and enjoy the spectacular ocean views. You will have some free time to explore the area.

After your visit to Peggy’s Cove, you'll head back to Halifax to visit historic Citadel Hill. You will learn about the military history of the hill and see the Highlander re-enactment interpreters dressed in traditional uniforms from the 1800s.

Next, your guide will take you on a narrated driving tour of downtown Halifax where you will pass by some of the city’s most notable points of interest including Pier 21, the Titanic cemetery (Fairview Lawn Cemetery), Halifax Farmers Market, City Gardens, and Point Pleasant Park.

At the end the tour, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.
