Your guided walking tour of the city begins on the scenic waterfront at Confederation Landing, offering a perfect introduction to the city’s charm and history.

From there, you will make your way up Great George Street, known for its unique architectural contrast with Georgian-style buildings on one side and Gothic Revival designs on the other. Along the way, you will pass key landmarks like the Bishop’s Palace and the stunning St. Dunstan’s Basilica Cathedral, one of the most iconic sights in the city.

Next, you explore the historic grounds of Province House, famously known as the birthplace of Confederation. The tour continues through Victoria Row, a vibrant pedestrian zone filled with live music, cozy cafés, restaurants, local art and artisan shops.

You will also visit the Confederation Centre of the Arts, home to the world-famous Anne of Green Gables play, running for over 50 years. As the tour progresses, you will pass by other points of interest including Charlottetown City Hall, Confederation Court Mall, and Rochford Square.

Your tour continues with stops at the Prince Edward Island government buildings, a stunning example of brutalist architecture. You will also visit the historic Beaconsfield Historic House and the Government House of PEI, which serves as the current residence of the Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island.

After this, you will make your way back towards your meeting point as you stroll down the Victoria Boardwalk, passing the Queen Charlotte Armoury, the Culinary Institute of Canada, and the PEI Convention Centre before arriving back at Peake’s Quay and Confederation Landing.
