The Squamish Clue Solving Adventure is an app-led interactive scavenger hunt style game that leads you on a journey to find popular sights and hidden gems, all as you work together to solve a series of fun clues and puzzles. With your smartphone as your guide, each clue will lead you on an easy walk from one location to the next.

Whether you choose to complete as quickly as possible or at a relaxed pace as you explore Squamish, BC is entirely up to you.

This scavenger hunt style adventure is great to do with friends, family, and groups.

Your Squamish clue solving adventure: Sea to Sky Adventure

Explore the trails, history, waterfront and local businesses in this adventurous destination where the mountains meet the ocean.
In the rainforests of Squamish, a group of young local climbers has stumbled upon a crew of black-market dealers scouring the backcountry for rare, illegally harvestable ‘rainforest swag.’ The RCMP have asked your and your team of renowned clue solvers to follow a trail of clues around town that will lead to the ringleader. Do do you have what it takes to save the day?

• Start location: At the Squamish Adventure Centre

• Start time: It is flexible! Start any day any time.

• Walking distance:  3.9km on mostly flat walking on paved or dirt trails.

• Average time to complete: 2-hours with several shops, pubs, and restaurants on the route and several optional game breaks.
  

• Level of difficulty: This experience is family and pet friendly. However, the clues can be quite challenging and we therefore recommend playing with adults.
  
  
• What you need: At least one fully charged cellphone per team (we advise 2+). Dress for the weather and wear footwear suitable for walking around town.
  
  
• Highlights: Adventure Centre, riverside trails, downtown shops

How it works:

• You’ll receive a series of clues on the free APP. Each clue will guide you to the next location where you'll find a hidden word or solve a puzzle.
• Along the way, you'll visit local icons, uncover hidden places, and experience stunning scenery.
• Once you’ve registered your game and selected your start date with the tour provider, you will receive an email with the instructions and the access code. This happens after you’ve activated your experience on Breakaway Experiences’ website.
• Download the free APP and use the access code to activate your adventure.
• Clues are sequential and written assuming you have no knowledge of the town.
• Submit the correct answer and you will immediately get the next clue. Don’t worry, hints and directions are available, but they’ll cost you a time penalty!
• Solve all the clues and solve the final mystery!

• Suggested team size is 2 - 5 players. It is most fun when working with other people to find and solve clues.
• You are not required to buy anything along the route.
• Data plans are only used to activate the adventure and are not used during play.
• Please ensure that your cellphone is charged before you begin. You are only required to use the phone for the App.
• Additional phones may be added at no extra cost.
• Bringing a phone charger is a good idea if your battery is low or weak.
