No experience is necessary. If you can walk, you can snowshoe!

A professional guide will lead you through the snowy wilderness, with a diverse range of flora and fauna including towering Douglas firs, alder, spruce and 900-year-old western red Cedars.

This 3-hour tour begins with a 30-minute ride in a 4×4 to the trail head. From there, your expert guides will lead you on a 2-hour trek, sharing their knowledge of the local flora and fauna.

With stunning views, frozen waterfalls, and a satisfying snack break along the way, this snowshoe tour along trails in the Whistler Backcountry has something for everyone.

3-hours including round trip from Cougar Mountain base.

Tours Daily from December to mid April*
*Subject to availability and snow conditions.

Need to know:

Participants must be comfortable and physically capable of hiking for 2 hours in the snow.
Must be over the age of 8 and fit a XXS helmet.
Any guests aged 8 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 19.
All tour participants are required to sign a legal release of liability waiver.
Dress like you’re going skiing: Warm waterproof, warm winter jacket, warm base layers, snowpants, thick socks, gloves, and a neck warmer. Waterproof winter boots are a must.
No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
Not recommended for people with back problems.
People with heart problems, serious medical conditions or pregnant are not permitted on the tour.
Snowshoeing tours will run in all weather conditions unless it is deemed unsafe.
