Whistler Hiking Tour – Cheakamus Lake

Discover the tranquil beauty of Cheakamus Lake. Following your expert guide, you’ll hike along the trail and see granite outcrops, towering Douglas fir and cedars in a beautiful forest that runs along a river with hidden beaches, leading you to a spectacular turquoise lake bordered by captivating mountain ridges.

The sides of the trail are awash with gorgeous blooming wildflowers and huckleberry bushes.  Keep an eye out because this trail is your best chance to spot a black bear! This hike truly feels like you’ve stepped into a fairytale.

• A minimum of 2 people per booking is required.
• Minimum age for participation is 8 years.
• Participants must be a minimum of 16 years old to hike without a guardian.
• Minors (19yrs & under) require a guardian’s signature on their waiver.
• Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.
• Please bring a daypack (18-30 litres), hiking boots, weatherproof clothing, lunch, snacks, water (1 - 1.5 litres), sunscreen and insect repellant.
• Transportation from Whistle Village is not included as part of the tour but can be added for an additional charger when your reserve your tour day/time with the tour provider.
