Vancouver North Shore Tour with Grouse Mountain and Capilano Bridge

Your Vancouver North Shore day trip begins with your guide picking you up in downtown Vancouver or Richmond. As you head from downtown Vancouver into the coastal beauty of the North Shore, you’ll cross the Lions Gate Bridge, one of Vancouver’s oldest and most iconic bridges. As you traverse the bridge, you get to enjoy spectacular scenic views of Vancouver's North Shore.

The first stop on the tour is at Capilano Salmon Hatchery, nestled beside the Capilano River. Here you’ll learn about the amazing Pacific salmon, a vital part of life for Indigenous Peoples and British Columbia’s ecosystems at the interpretative centre.

At Grouse Mountain, just 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, you’ll rise to the mountain peak on the Skyride Gondola (1,200 metres / 3,700 feet). You’ll meet Coola and Grinder, resident Grizzly bears at the Refuge for Endangered Wildlife, visit the Theatre in the Sky and take in the spectacular views from Paradise Patio.

After Grouse Mountain, the tour continues to the Capilano Suspension Bridge. You’ll cross this legendary attraction at 137 m (450 ft) long and 70 m (230 ft.) high, venture through the tree canopies with Treetop Adventures and experience an adrenaline-pumping walk along the granite cliff above the canyon with Cliffwalk.
