Your adventure begins with a 20-minute helicopter tour that is full of natural beauty, glaciers and waterfalls. You follow the Cline River and soar over Cline Pass at 10,000 ft (3028m) and experience panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains.

You’ll fly over the 6 Glaciers (Cline Glacier, White Goat Glacier, Resolute Glacier, Lion Glacier, Lioness Glacier, Hanging Glacier) and continue onto Michelle Lakes at an elevation of 2299 metres (7545 feet) and a waterfall that plunges into Waterfalls Creek. Your tour follows Waterfalls Creek back to the Cline River Valley.

Your pilot will land at the confluence of Waterfalls Creek and Cline River where you will explore the wild beauty of the backcountry up to Twin Falls and enjoy a picnic lunch.

Following your walk in the wilderness and picnic lunch, you'll fly back to the heli-base and take a short drive to Mackenzie Trails West for your 1-hour horseback ride.  Mackenzie Trails West is located near the mouth of the Cline River where it flows into beautiful Lake Abraham.

Get ready to Relax and enjoy a guided horseback ride through unspoiled mountain wilderness. Your experienced horse will bring you safely over well-worn trails. Your skilled guide will provide insight, assist you on the trail, and answer any questions you may have.

This one-hour trail ride that offers a variety of terrains and views, including an exhilarating view of the Cline River Valley and beautiful Mount Stelfox. This 1-hour horseback riding excursion is a great ride for first timers and families with younger children.

  • Located 25 minutes from the famous Columbia Icefields between Jasper and Banff.  VIEW MAP
  • If you are driving from Lake Louise, the heliport is approximately 1.5 hours North.
  • If you are driving from Jasper, the heliport is approximately 2.5 hours South.

  • Minimum age for participation is 10 years.
  • Helmets are mandatory for minors during the horse-back riding portion.
  • Maximum capacity per flight is 6 passengers.
  • Minimum of 2 passengers per booking.
  • Maximum weight is 250 pounds per passenger.
