Ice Climbing Experience, Whistler

On this full-day, small-group ice climbing tour, you’ll learn the basics of ice climbing and be guided to ice climbs that match your ability. Whether its your first time or you’re an experienced climber, your guide will help you develop your technique and guide you up the blue ice walls of Blackcomb Mountain near Whistler.

To climb on Blackcomb Mountain, you must be at least an intermediate skier or snowboarder to access the climbing site. Off-resort locations are available that do not require skiing depending on ice condition. Locations and date availability are weather and temperature dependent. The favourable location is on Blackcomb Mountain which requires access via the gondola.

Need to know:

• A minimum of 2 people per booking is required.
• Minimum age for participation is 16 years.
• Participants must be a minimum of 16 years old to climb without a guardian.
• Minors (19yrs & under) require a guardian’s signature on their waiver.
• Lunch, snacks, and beverages are not included.
• To access the climbing site, you will need ski or snowboarding gear and a Whistler Blackcomb ski pass.
• Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.
• Participants should have a moderate physical fitness level.
