The Banff Sightseeing Chairlift is a 7,000-foot ride to the peak of Mt. Norquay in Banff National Park. Experience spectacular 360°views. Keep an eye out for some of the ‘wilder’ neighbours as Bighorn Sheep, Black and Grizzly Bears are often spotted during the summer 

Highlights:

  • Soar 20 min open-air chairlift ride to the summit of Mt. Norquay and back (10 minutes up, 10 minutes down).
  • Viewing boardwalk and sightseeing platform at the summit.
  • The option to dine at 6900 feet at the Cliffhouse Bistro for a meal or snack. Craft beer and wines are served. Every table has a top-of-the-world view, with the mighty Mt. Rundle stealing the show.

  • June - September 9am - 6:00pm Daily

Duration:

  • 20-minutes (10-minutes up and 10-minutes down)

Need to know:

  • The maximum combined weight per chair is 500lbs (226kg).
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult on the chairlift.
  • Children 2 - 5 years ride for free.
  • The minimum age for participation is 2 years.
