Banff Sightseeing Chairlift

The Banff Sightseeing Chairlift is a 7,000-foot ride to the peak of Mt. Norquay in Banff National Park. Experience spectacular 360°views, overlooking the town of Banff, Bow Valley, Spray Valley, and the jagged edges of Mt. Rundle.

Keep an eye out for some of the ‘wilder’ neighbours as Bighorn Sheep, Black and Grizzly Bears are often spotted during the summer months.

Highlights:

• Soar to the summit of Mt. Norquay.
• Sightseeing platform and boardwalk at the summit.
• The option to dine at 6900 feet at the Cliffhouse Bistro for a meal or snack. Craft beer and wines are served.

Season: June - September 9am - 6:00pm Daily.

Duration:  16-minutes (8-minutes up and 8-minutes down) 

Need to know:

• The maximum combined weight per chair is 500lbs (226kg).
• Free shuttle from town of Banff is included.
• Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult on the chairlift.
• Children 2 - 5 years ride for free.
• The minimum age for participation is 2 years.
