Learn how to hit the bull's eye during this fun archery lesson!
Once you arrive, you’ll be meet your certified archery instructor (National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP)). They will familiarize you with the equipment and make sure that you have a complete understanding of the required safety procedures.
No previous experience required.
Once you’ve selected your archery gear, you’ll learn how to string and unstring a bow properly … and then … take aim and release your arrow down the range to your target. This 1.5-hour archery lesson provides plenty of time to learn, practice, and hone your aim. As with all things ‘practice makes perfect’ and before you know it, you’ll be able to show off your newly found archery skills.
The range is 18m in length with 5 large targets, each of which move independently up and down the range
By the end of your private archery lesson, you might not be winning any Hunger Games or shooting apples off people's heads like William Tell, but you'll definitely be far more skilled than you were at the start of the lesson and will probably be keen to be on the range again!

When: Available year-round
Need to know:
- There will be other people at the range at the same time as you, but your time is one-on-one with your instructor.
- Participants under 18 years of age will require the signature of a parent or guardian.
- Parents or guardians of youth participants under the age of 18 are required to stay at the archery club for the duration of the lesson.
- Participants will be required to sign a liability release and waiver form.
- This experience is not weather dependent and will run rain or shine.
- Dress comfortably and avoid wearing loose fitting or bulky shirts as they will interfere with the shooting of a bow. Wear flat soled shoes.
