You will be flown from the helicopter base to a lake in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. You will experience the beauty of the Rockies from the air, checking out the lakes full of fishing potential and land in the middle of the back country that would normally take hours to hike.

Seek out the rare and exotic Golden Trout, often considered the Holy Grail of freshwater fly-fishing, or simply the embrace the solitude of you, your friends and the fish. Bring your own rod, food and camping gear… stay the day or even overnight!

Need to know:

  • Limit of 2 fish per day per size.
  • Prices shown includes landing fees, fuel surcharge and carbon tax.
  • Additional charge of $2.50/lbs for gear/cargo payable onsite.
  • Guests require a Fishing license & Wildlife Identification Number.
  • No gear is supplied, only transportation to the lakes.
  • Maximum capacity per flight is 6 passengers.
  • Minimum of 3 passengers per booking is required.
  • Maximum weight is 250 pounds per passenger.
  • The closest emergency facility is an hour from our heliport. If you are on medication or inhalers, please make sure you bring extra medication in case of delays. If you have severe allergies, please make sure you have an epi pen and that members of your party know how to use it.
  • Flights may be cancelled due to weather conditions at the venue’s discretion.

  • Located 25 minutes from the famous Columbia Icefields between Jasper and Banff.  VIEW MAP
  • If you are driving from Lake Louise, the heliport is approximately 1.5 hours North.
  • If you are driving from Jasper, the heliport is approximately 2.5 hours South.
