Victoria and Butchart Gardens Day Tour from Vancouver

Your Vancouver to Victoria full day tour begins with your guide picking you up in downtown Vancouver or Richmond hotel districts and bringing you to the ferry terminal.

Watch for marine life as you cruise through the beautiful Gulf Islands to Vancouver Island.

When you arrive on Vancouver Island, the tour continues by bus to The Butchart Gardens. What was once a cement limestone quarry was transformed into a world-renowned garden under the vision of Jennie Butchart. Beginning with the Sunken Gardens, the Butchart family then added the Rose, Japanese, and Italian gardens. Today you can explore over 900 species of plants across 55 sprawling acres with traces of the old cement factory remaining.

After being awe-struck by the gardens, your guide will bring you to Downtown Victoria where you have the chance to wander the cobblestone streets, walk past the buskers lining the harbour, visit the haunting Bastion Square, take a ferry over to Fisherman’s Wharf, and see the city’s oldest architecture.
