Tandem Hang Gliding

Soar across the sky with a certified hang gliding professional at your side.

The view is spectacular. You will see Lake Ontario immediately, then Lake Scugog and maybe even Lake Simcoe. It’s a truly unforgettable experience to check off your bucket list!

Once secured in the harness, you and your pilot will be towed up with a hydraulic winch to about 1300 feet where the tow line is released, and you are both free to soar about the open sky. No running is required as the glider is launched from a flat field on wheels. You’ll fly between 1000 and 1500 feet.

When it is time to land your instructor will bring you both in for a gentle, easy landing on the wheels.

No experience is necessary!

This Tandem Hang Gliding Experience offers a serene, bird's-eye perspective of a beautiful landscape and is the perfect experience gift for someone who dreams of flying!

What's included: 

• Flight on a two-person hang glider with a certified instructor.

Duration: The entire lesson lasts about half an hour. Depending of factors such as wind strength, thermals, direction, and total weight of participants your time in the air can be anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes (usually about 10 minutes).

Need to Know:

• Minimum weight for participation is 60 lbs.
• Maximum weight for participation is 240 lbs.
• All participants must sign a liability waiver prior to flight.
• There is no age limit. Minors (under 18 years) need their parents or guardians to sign the liability waiver.
• Spectators are welcome to watch you take off and land.
• Wear warm clothes as it's cooler up in the air. Sunglasses or glasses are recommended.
