Squamish Rafting Family Adventure

As you ride down the river, you can keep an eye out for local wildlife like deer, elk, and playful harbour seals. This half-day trip includes a light riverside picnic and refreshments.

The Cheakamus River offers Class 1 and 2 rapids. The easy moving water makes it a great option for a family white water rafting adventure. Light paddling as a team will propel you down this gorgeous waterway. You’ll enjoy classic views of Mount Garibaldi and the southern slopes of the Tantalus Mountain Range as you float down the river.

Your rafting trip down the Cheakamus River will be about 7km in length and lasts about an hour and a half.

This gentle river rafting ride is fun for all ages and ability levels. No prior rafting experience is required.

Need to know:

• Minimum age is 5 years old.
• Minimum weight is 50 lbs.
• Bring a swimsuit to wear under your wetsuit and a towel to dry off with afterwards.
• A professional photographer will also be taking photos of your adventure along the way which will be available for purchase at the end of your tour.
