Squamish Rafting Family Adventure

There are very few things parents and children can do together and both enjoy. White water rafting is one of them.

The Cheakamus River offers Class 1 and 2 rapids. The easy moving water makes it a great option for family white water rafting adventures. Light paddling as a team will further propel you down this gorgeous water route. You’ll enjoy classic views of Mount Garibaldi and the southern slopes of the Tantalus Mountain Range as you float down the river.

Your rafting trip down the Cheakamus River will be about 7km in length and last about an hour and a half.

This gentle river rafting ride is fun for all ages and ability levels.

• All required river and safety gear.

Duration: 3.5 hours round trip, with 1.5 hours on the water.

When: April through October   Daily departures at 9:00am & 2:30pm (subject to availability)

Need to know:

• Minimum age is 5 years old.
• Minimum weight is 50 lbs.
• Free round-trip shuttle from Whistler and Squamish.
• Bring a swimsuit to wear under your wetsuit and a towel to dry off with afterwards.
• A professional photographer will also be taking photos of your adventure along the way which will be available for purchase at the end of your tour.
• Shuttle from Downtown Vancouver available for $35 per person. This can be purchased when you reserve your tour time with tour provider.
