Lunenburg Food Tour

Lunenburg is one of only two urban communities designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in North America. Original colonial buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries continue to impress visitors with their stunning, colourful façades.

Your culinary adventure begins with meeting your guide outside of Lightship Brewery, where you will enjoy a salty, soft pretzel for an appetizer.

You will then pass by the harbour on your way to experience a cheese lover’s dream, fried cheese curds. Crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside, this treat will please your taste buds.

Next, you will enjoy a choice of a delicious seafood chowder, or, if you’d prefer, you can enjoy the soup of the day.

Your tasty tour continues with a walk along the stunning Lunenburg waterfront on your way to your next stop where you’ll enjoy your choice of deli sandwich.

Your tour will then come to a close, with your stomach pleasantly full. The tour is great for those visiting for the first time or for the tenth time. It’s a fantastic way to discover Luneburg restaurants while taking home a few new found facts about this fabulous town.
