Choose from two Whistler Snowshoeing Adventures that range from serene walks through old growth forests on Whistler Mountain, to vigorous treks on backcountry trails.
Natural Mystic Tour
This tour is perfect for first-timers. You ride the gondola and beginner chairlift up Whistler Blackcomb and then strap on your snowshoes for a trek through freshly fallen snow. Keep your eyes open for wildlife along the way and try amazing snow slides that are fun for the whole family.
Duration: 1.5 hours (round trip) with approximately 1 hour snowshoe time.
Winter Wonderland Tour
On this intermediate tour, you can experience the solitude of freshly fallen snow in the forests and enjoy the spectacular views of Whistler Valley. You will ride the Whistler Gondola to Olympic Station and then walk back down the mountain to Whistler Village. You’ll discover wild birds and animal tracks as you descend, stopping along the way for a hot beverage and trail treat to warm you up.
Duration: 2.5 hours (round trip) with approximately 2 hours snowshoe time.
Need to know:
Children minimum ages: 6 – 12 years old for the Natural Mystic Tour and 8 – 12 years old for the Winter Wonderland Tour
Snowshoeing tours will run in all weather conditions unless it is deemed unsafe
All trekkers are required to sign a legal release of liability waiver
