Your tour begins at the historic Hudson Bay Building, now the home of the bustling Victoria Public Market. Here you will get a tour of the market that includes a savoury hand pie from Victoria Pie Co., a coffee from a local roaster and a unique version of poutine, a traditional Canadian dish from Sutra. Sutra is the only place outside of Vancouver that you can experience food designed by renowned chef Vikram Vij.
Next, the tour will make its way to historic Chinatown where you will tour the hidden alleys, visit the Chinese Public School built in 1909 and sample handmade dumplings and a Bao bun from a local business.
After exploring Dragon Alley you’ll head towards the emerging Design District for two new modern culinary stops including a local craft beer from iconic Philip’s Brewery and a delicious sandwich from Salt & Pepper Fox. The Design District was once the industrial part of the city and is now home to restaurants, galleries, and art shops. The tour then swings back along historic Store street to explore and taste your way through Fan Tan Alley, Market Square and end on a sweet note at the new and modern Johnson Street Bridge.

- This tour is suitable for all ages however there is an optional alcohol sample. The legal drinking age in British Columbia is 19 years of age. You may be required to present your government issued ID to participate in alcohol tastings.
- This tour has a vegetarian option that can be requested when you reserve your tour time. Please note that the tour can not accommodate for the following allergies: gluten, dairy, or severe peanut.
