Paddle out just before sunset, watch the sun go down on the Pacific and then light up the water with glowing LED lights.
Once you arrive on Granville Island your guide will set up with your kayak. After some instruction and getting comfortable with your kayak you’re on the water and head out. You will follow your guide to the perfect place to watch the sun set. Your kayak is outfitted with LED for optimal nighttime viewing. As you light up you’ll continue along the coastline, exploring False Creek and English Bay, revelling in the downtown skyline set against the dark background of the night sky. After this peaceful paddle you’ll make your way back to Granville Island.

Duration: 90 minutes, Fridays and Saturdays, June – August
Need to know:
- No experience is necessary
- Minimum age: 12 years
- You must be able to swim on your own.
- Children 15 and younger must be accompanied by a paying adult in a tandem kayak.
- Single kayak riders must be 16 or older and able to demonstrate a satisfactory solo rescue
