At Great Canadian Bungee you'll find one of the world's most spectacular and unique Bungee Jumping sites. Visualize an amphitheater of solid limestone, 200 ft. high, surrounding a 160 ft. deep aqua-blue, spring-fed lagoon, larger than 3 football fields.

This is the only place in the Americas where one can experience a 200 ft. head (or body) dip. Your 160 ft. rebound is higher than the entire jump height at any other site in the US or Canada!

Sounds too scary? Not to worry. As pioneers in the development of bungee safety, Great Canadian Bungee uses state-of-the-art equipment and employs only the most competent staff to assure you a safe trip over the edge - every time!

And follow up with another adrenaline rush!

The RIPRIDE starts at a spine-chilling 200 ft. over the crystal-clear waters of the lagoon. You are strapped into your safety harness and double checked by meticulous staff. The first 100 ft. of the ride, an accelerating cruise over land, doesn't even begin to prepare you for what's next. You'll start to scream as you approach the now visible 150 ft. shear drop-off, but you are strapped in and past the point of no return. You now have 915 ft. of cable to zip down at an average speed of 85 km/hr. The ride is unreal! The best thing about the RIPRIDE is that the whole family can ride.

  • What to Wear:  Dress comfortably for the weather conditions.  Wear shoes. No sandals or boots. Bring a change of clothes in case you get wet.

  • Age and Weight Requirements:  Participation is open to all ages as long as they meet the minimum weight requirements below.

  • Does bungee jumping hurt or cause discomfort?  Jumpers do not feel any physical pain or significant discomfort during the course of the jump. Physically, bungee jumping is a smooth process with a gradual deceleration.  Fear is usually what causes the most discomfort during the course of the activity.

  • Will I touch the water on my bungee jump? The water dip is optional. If you do not want to touch the water then you will not. If you ask to do a "water dip" then it may be arranged at the discretion of the jump master. In this case, the touch is not guaranteed.

  • Will I be attached by my ankles or by my waist? Each jumper will be given the option to jump either with an ankle harness attachment or a body harness attachment. The ankle harness utilizes a waist harness backup system. The body harness is a shoulder and waist and harness combination.

  • Are there different ways to ride the RIPRIDE zipline? There are 2 positions you can use to ride the RIPRIDE zipline, flying or seated.

  • Can I jump naked? No, clothing must be worn by all for bungee jumping.
