Following your foodie guide through this cycle-friendly city’s unique neighbourhoods, you’ll experience its seaside charm and get to see where locals go to unwind and dine.

The first tasty stop is the Root Cellar, one of Victoria’s beloved grocery stores, known for their famous green sauce served with either their in-house roasted chicken or seasonal veggies. This sauce has been voted one of the best things to eat in Victoria. They serve over 25,000 tubs of it yearly!

Next, the tour heads to hip and trendy hip Boomtown to sample their mind-blowing burrito. This lively hotspot with locals has the largest patio in Victoria and a great stop for people watching.

A short ride later through historic Fernwood the tour stops at Fernwood Pizza for a slice of pie. Their homemade smoked sriracha dip is a must try!

The tour then rolls into the Fairfield neighbourhood to indulge in a decadent cookie from the charming Deer & Dough bakery before taking a roll along the stunning waterfront to your last stop, For Good Measure, where you’ll enjoy a coffee or a locally made soda paired with some of their in-house roasted peanuts (non-peanut sample available).

E-bikes: E-bikes work just like a regular bicycle but are slightly heavier, and they only assist you when necessary. With no gas engine, they are quiet and respectful to the environment.  You are able to cover more distance than our other tours because the e-bikes enable people to go a little further with ease.

Need to know:

• Although an E-bike is recommended for this tour you can substitute for a pedal bike.
• Tours are casual and at a very comfortable pace, so no one gets left behind. Participants should have some cardiovascular stamina and be able to exercise at a moderate amount.
• You must be able to ride a bike.
• Minimum age for participation is 16 years.
• Maximum weight permitted is 280lbs.
• Please advise of any food allergies when you reserve your tour day with the experience provider.
• Tours run rain or shine. Please dress appropriately. Rain ponchos and bikes with fenders can be provided.
• Restaurant tax & gratuities and included. Tour guide gratuities are graciously accepted at your discretion.
