No experience is necessary!
This guided kayaking tour is designed with beginners in mind. The guides are professionals, the instruction is excellent, the food is fabulous, the equipment is top-notch, and the adventure awaits! Amidst all the fun things to do in Kingston and Ganaoque this summer, this is the one that will get you on the water and immerse you in the 1000 Islands' incredible beauty.
Each trip begins with a complete ‘Kayaking 101′ lesson from the professional guides. You will quickly gain the confidence for a relaxing day among the islands. The boats are stable, comfortable and the certified staff will always be close to lend a helping hand.
The 1000 Islands region is an integral part of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve, a member of the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves. Above all, it offers world class sea kayaking for all levels of paddlers.
On the full day trip, the highlight of the day may very well be the gourmet Island lunch. Your experience provider is proud to support the Local Flavours program and build a buffet that represents the best ingredients from local farms. You can relax and wander on a St. Lawrence National Park island while your guide prepares your feast. There will be numerous opportunities for swimming, hiking, photography, bird watching, or just laying out in the sun.
