You will get to experience a short portage, learn some strokes, and enjoy a casual paddle down the Bow River where you can see birds, bears, elk, beavers, and moose.
The adventure begins with meeting your guide in Seebe and driving 15 minutes to the launch location. Your guide will provide a dry land paddling lesson, a safety briefing and then away you go.
Enjoy the spectacular mountain views as you paddle down the river. Watch for native wildlife as your guide tells you about the centuries of heritage and history of big canoes on the Bow River.
Your voyage ends back at your vehicle, where you'll assist your guide to pull the boat out of the water and say farewell.
No previous canoeing experience is necessary.
