Blacksmith Class - Forge Your Own Steak Turner

No BBQ master should be without their own hand forged steak turner!

In this blacksmith class, you will experience what it takes to completely transform a piece of steel into your own hand-crafted steak turner. Work with hot metal and discover the joy of seeing completed ironwork you have created with your own hands. You’ll complete your project with a beautiful twist handle and faux bronze finish.

What’s included:

• Learn the ancient and noble skill of blacksmithing.
• Create your own personal steak turner.
• 2-hour session in a relaxed and fun environment.

When: Tuesday evenings (subject to availability)

Duration: 2-hours

Need to know:

• Maximum number of participants per class is 4.
• The minimum age to participate is 13 years. Children under 18 years. must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Steel toe shoes or boots are mandatory.
• Full length cotton or wool pants and a long sleeve cotton or wool shirt are mandatory.
• Rings, bracelets or necklaces cannot be worn during the class. Exception is for a medic alert item.
• Students are to provide their own water and snacks. At least 1 litre of water is recommended.
• Gloves, aprons and safety glasses will be provided.
