Vancouver Superhero Adventure Outdoor Game is like a scavenger hunt and an escape room adventure combined into one, except unlike escape rooms, you are outdoors, and the game area covers approximately 2km rather than being inside a locked room.

Most scavenger hunts are played outside with players checking off a list of objects to find. This Vancouver adventure game takes the scavenger hunt to the next level!

You and tour team of superheros will explore the Coal Harbour waterfront solving puzzles and searching for clues to find Muck Monster’s identity and hideout.

Your Superhero mission:

Muck Monster and her gang have learned how to harness the extraordinary powers of mother nature and plans to take over the world! Starting with Vancouver, she is determined to make it the greenest city in the world! Unveil her secret identity, locate her secret hideout, and stop her attacks.

Highlights:

• Costumed actors explain the game concept and rules in person.
• Enjoy a fun team or group activity without the stress of organizing.
• Compete against other teams of Superheros to see who can defeat the villain.

How it works:

• Once you have registered with the experience provider you will receive instructions on how to activate your Superhero Adventure.
• Your mission begins and ends in downtown Vancouver, a short walk from Waterfront Station. You'll receive the exact starting location and instructions once you've reserved your day/time with the experience provider.
• You’ll rendezvous with the Agent X, who is in costume and in character, to receive your mission briefing along with all the tools you’ll need to defeat Muck Monster.
• Groups are divided into teams of 2-6 Superheros competing against each other in this Amazing Race style game (Family Friendy Version = 2-5 players per team). A team can play alone, or multiple teams can compete against each other.
• Each team gets a game kit with everything they need to play the game: artifacts (clues), a map, tools, and a game book.
• You’ll search Coal Harbour's waterfront with your fellow Superhoeros, working together to decipher clues … and the clock is ticking.
• Report back to the Agent X within the time limit.

Duration: approximatley 90 minutes depending on your sense of urgency and skills. Allow 2 hours if you are a large group*

Need to know:

• A minimum of 2 players is required.
• A maximum of 40 people can play at one time.
• *Please arrive a few minutes early to get the full 2 hours to solve the mystery.
• This activity is good for ages 12 and up. (Family Friendly version is good for ages 8 and up.)
• Participants under 19 years old must be accompanied by one adult (at least 19 years old) during the game. If the adult is not playing the game, they can accompany a team of up to 6 minors for free.
• The maximum team size is 6 players. Family Friendly Version maximum team size is 5 players.
• Games of 7 or more players are divided into teams competing against each other for the top score. Each team with minors requires an adult to accompany them.
• Operates in all weather conditions. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
• You will be walking 2 - 2.5 kms. Participants should have a moderate physical fitness level.
